We have robust policies and procedures in place to ensure that all children and staff are kept safe. The main door remains locked at all times, so visitors must ring the bell to be admitted. In addition to this all visitors are asked to provide ID and to sign the visitors book on arrival and departure.

All staff have enhanced checks with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and have attended Cambridge County Council Child Protection Courses. Only registered staff or the child’s parent will accompany children to the toilet. We have a designated Health and Safety Officer who reviews the supporting policies and procedures annually. These include, Fire Safety, First Aid, Food Hygiene, Risk Assessment, Safeguarding and Child Protection and others. Full copies are available on request.
